Delete your account

You can delete your SevaSangam account — and all data associated with it — at any time. Deletion is available to the account owner and covers the whole workspace: your business profile, team members, customers, jobs, quotes, invoices, payment records and uploaded files.

Option 1 — from the app

• Sign in to SevaSangam as the account owner.
• Open Settings → Danger zone → Delete account and type the confirmation phrase.
• Your account is deactivated immediately and permanently deleted after a 30-day grace period. Signing back in and cancelling within those 30 days restores the account; after that, deletion is irreversible.

Option 2 — by email

Write to team@sevasangam.com from the email or phone number linked to your account with the subject "Delete my account". We verify the request and process it within the timelines prescribed by India's DPDP Act, 2023.

What is deleted, and what we must keep

• All personal and business data is deleted or anonymised within 90 days of the grace period ending.
• Records we are legally required to retain longer — such as billing and tax records for your SevaSangam subscription — are kept only as long as the law requires, then deleted.
• Server logs are kept for a short rolling window for security, then expire automatically.
